@shiftposting Again, I hear you. But I still stand firm in my belief that Twitch is going in the wrong direction with this program at the very least. It should be able to be an achievement for all, and is for those who don’t abuse the system.
@shiftposting I have heard some of them complaining, though not as many - you’re right there. What’s happening now is still relevant though. Affiliate should be an achievement, and gaming the system either by black screen streaming or paying should be frowned upon.
@shiftposting I get your point, but that’s bad on them - not bad on those who put in the work that should be required.
@shiftposting Saying that is a disservice to the people who worked hard for it. Maybe not everyone had to work hard, but many did. It’s disgraceful of Twitch to let you buy such a status either way.
@mccabe_dalton @JSHCapital @ModernVintageG 1. Yellow light of death 2. Taking away other OS support 3. Removing backwards compatibility midway through a consoles life cycle Love the PS3 but it’s got its shit too.
@BangBangClick For music yeah, if you’re gonna act like a radio station, expect to pay royalties like one. Playing a game on stream with commentary, showing your unique experience, is a transformative use of the material and falls under fair use, like react videos (remember that court case)?
