NEW RANT: Battlefield 3 for the PC has TERRIBLE CONTROLLER SPRINTING!

Β I am DISSAPPOINTED IN YOU, EA.
Your PC version of Battlefield 3 has good controller support. All except for the sprinting. Why do you have to hold down the button with a controller on the PC version? On EVERY other version of Battlefield 3 for consoles, just one tap of the sprint button. My fingers start to hurt when I have to hold in the sprint button, as I have to push in on a joystick and hold it in through most of a match rather than tapping it and just not stopping sprinting until I stop walking. Why did you do this, EA? Why?
And, I’ve got another bone to pick! Why is the HUD in Crysis 3 different on the multiplayer? Why isn’t the dual energy bar feature on the single player, when it is a permanent feature of the multiplayer? Maybe I am missing something. Do you get that later in the campaign?
Well, anyway, on that note, I DON’T WANT ORIGIN SCANNING MY COMPUTER AND HAVING THE ABILITY OF READING THROUGH ALL OF MY PERSONAL PRIVATE INFORMATION.
Goodbye. This article was mainly made to bash EA for a couple of reasons. They make good games, but, sheesh….
Adios, amigos!
Gavin
